My name is Christian Adams.
I was born in 1974, with an insatiable curiosity for the unknown. I enjoyed a lot of freedom throughout my childhood, and ended up in places that normally would have been out of bounds.
One night, when I was ten years old, my friend Jeremy and I told our parents that we were sleeping at each others' houses, and we spent the night in a tree den in the local graveyard. We heard loud banging and went to investigate. The sound was coming from inside the old Church.
Jeremy looked through the keyhole of the old church. He immediately stood up and pointed to the keyhole, he was white as a sheet. As I looked through the keyhole I could see the pews spinning above the floor round the church and landing back into place. That was enough for me - we ran home to face what we felt was the lesser danger of our parent’s anger. I think we would have been safer staying at the church!
A number of years later I was walking through the local park on a winters night when I noticed a man walk right in front of me. He walked across into the field to my left and then disappeared - there was nowhere that he could have gone.
These are just a few of the experiences that I have had.
I live in North Cornwall and work in the care industry, full-time, helping and caring for those with learning disabilities. I live with my wife Lisa and daughter Clarissa and Son Sam.
